One to One Playing and Range Based Lessons

One to one lessons offer the very best opportunity to improve your game. It’s a chance for the team to get to know you, your golf history and what you are looking to achieve and then tailor a programme around your needs. All done in a relaxed, informal way.

Range Lessons

All one to one lessons held in our range include video and Trackman 4 swing analysis and range balls in the price. There are 30 and 60 minute options and if you are keen to improve your game, you can book in blocks of 3 lessons at a time to save you money.

Playing Lessons

As an alternative to the range, why not book a 60 minute playing lesson with Richard Ballard PGA professional on Sherdons Manor Course. He’ll even do the driving as you go round the course in a buggy. In addition to a chance to improve your swing, you’ll learn about course management and strategies to lower your scores and your handicap.

Short Game Lessons

Often overlooked, if you stop to consider how many shots in your own scores are short game, we’re pretty sure you’d quickly realise just how important a good short game is if you want to play better golf.

So give your Short Game a shake up. 30 minutes putting, then 1 hour on our Manor course looking at bunkers, chipping and pitching. Session includes Trackman 4 analysis, skills test and drills to continue to help continually improve your game.

Development Programmes

Finally for those of you really looking to get serious about playing better golf ask about our development programmes. Tailored to your game and your ambitions, they combine range and playing lessons covering all aspects of the game, all designed to help you realise your potential.

Lesson Payment and Cancellation Policies

In order to make it fair for everyone wanting to book lessons, all lessons with Richard Ballard PGA need to be paid in full at the time of booking. You can either do this online at https://richardballard.proagenda.com/#agenda, in person in our Pro Shop, or by calling 01684 274782.

Need to change the date or time for your lesson?

Whilst we do not offer cash refunds for cancelled lessons, as long as you inform us by calling 01684 274782 before your lesson is due, we will re book your lesson at no extra charge to a time more convenient. If you fail to notify us in advance and don’t attend your lesson, we reserve the right to require you to pay again if you wish to re book.
