Club Repair
We recommend giving your golf clubs a regular MOT to ensure peak performance that helps improve your game and lower your scores.
One of our most popular services is our free club MOT to check your clubs for any problems. In particular we’ll check your grips as well as the general condition of your clubs, offering professional, impartial advice if we think your game would benefit from work on your clubs.
All our golf clubs are repaired on site in our own workshop so we retain full control of everything and can guarantee quicker lead times wherever possible to get you back on the course enjoying your golf. Whilst we do hold much in stock we may need to order in the specification you need.
Grip replacement and fitting
Getting the right grip for your game can have a bigger impact than you’d think on improving your golf. Too often, golfers tolerate overly-worn and sometimes even torn grips, which can make them slippery and impact performance. … When cleaning no longer restores tackiness, it’s time to regrip golf clubs.
And when you do, make sure you get a grip that is the right size for your hand. Too small and you risk holding the club too tightly, too large for your hands and its easier to lose control. We offer a full grip check and replacement service for clubs offering Golf Pride, Lamkin and Superstroke grips as standard and can order in any special grip if required.
To book your clubs in for a grip check or a re gripping, call our Pro Shop 01684 274782 or email team@sherdons.co.uk.

Shaft Replacement
Replacing damaged shafts – Modern shafts can easily be damaged which is why we offer a replacement service with all the work carried out in our own on site workshop.
Tailoring the shaft to your swing – Over time your golf swing changes and what may have been the correct shafts for your game when you bought your clubs may not be the case now, so get them checked out regularly. We’ll use Trackman 4 to assess the performance you are generating and make recommendations where required to help improve the consistency of your game.
